Which online broker do you use to buy stock? I've heard of Zecco and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

It happens to ties to my high interest checking account as well. I like it and tools on the site pretty well, but I don't make trades very often.

I have contributions and trades setup to automatically purchase stock on the 3rd tuesday of the month and I believe the transaction rate is $4 a trade which is quite good. You can also make real time trades it'll cost more. It really depends on your investing style, since you're asking the question I assume you're a beginner and I think sharebuilder works quite well for those just starting out.

When I called representatives on the phone, sometimes the accents were hard to understand.

SogoTrade has even lower commissions ($3), but they have a higher account minimum to open an account: $500.
